Hiking Dobongsan with Uncle and Family
Hiked Dobongsan with my brother (visiting right now), uncle and his family over Chuseok weekend. The hike was fairly easy, it took about 1.5 with a a few breaks. Scattered around Korea are many mountains, and thus it is no surprise that Koreans take hiking pretty seriously, it is part of the culture here.

National Museum of Korea
Finally visited the National Museum of Korea, it was dope and I got to see a lot of interesting things. Next time, I definitely want to check out a contemporary art museum. Anyways, here are pics.

Reflecting on life in Korea
Note: I have a lot of thoughts running through my mind right now, so I’m just going to start writing. I apologize in advance if my thoughts are a bit unorganized, as I am just free writing.
These past couple months, I’ve been partying and drinking HARD on the weekends. For instance, this past weekend, our group finished 2 bottles at a bar, then got a table with 3 bottles at a club...

Ultra Music Festival, Korea 2012
I went to UMF Korea couple weekends ago. I wanted to see Skrillex on Friday, but couldn’t go because of work. Ended up only going Saturday, headliners were Tiesto and Carl Cox. Nonetheless, UMF was amazing, it was definitely a night to remember. Anyways, here are pictures from my phone

Green Groove Festival 2012, Daechun
Past weekend was amazing, went to Green Groove Festival, rented out a pension, chilled hard at the beach, drank, partied, and saw Akon and the wonder girls. Honestly, I wasn’t too excited for Akon, but he killed it. I have no pics of the concert though…didn’t want to fuck up my camera

Gyeongpo, Gangwon-do
Went to Gyeongpo, in Gangwon-do, a couple weeks ago. We rented out a pension for the weekend, 5 min walk to the beach. It was really nice getting out of the busy city life, the people in Gyeongpo were really friendly, totally different vibes than in Seoul.
Sky and Bibi, it took about 3 hours to get there

The Grind →
The Grind is that time in your physique transformation where you just put your head down and grind it out.
It’s often the time between the initial fast “newbie” results and the final results. Changes are occurring in your body, but you may not see them from week to week.
Mentally, The Grind is also where some of that new program and new diet enthusiasm wears off and it all becomes routine,...

Buddhist Temple in Yongin, Gyeongi-do
Last weekend I visited a Buddhist Temple in Yongjin. It was nice to get away from the city and check out other areas of Korea for once.

Anonymous asked: Hi, I read your answer to your previous question post, and I was wondering.. before moving to South Korea, did you know anyone? And do you have foreign friends who work in Korea but are not teachers?
